Casino Regulatory Authority
A government body tasked with ensuring that Singapore gambling law is upheld and that casinos operate in a fair and legal manner
The Casino Regulatory Authority is a statutory board, established in April 2008, under the Ministry of Home Affairs. Its function is to administer and enforce the Casino Control Act. Other objectives include:
- Working to ensure that the management and operation of casinos remain free from criminal influence and exploitation.
- Ensuring that casino gaming is conducted honestly.
- Containing and controlling the potential of casinos to cause harm to minors, vulnerable persons and society at large.
