DiCaprio To Star In Online Casino Film

Movie will revolve around online casino industry in the Central American nation of Costa Rica.

Leonardo DiCaprio is set to star in a new online poker film written by Brian Koppelman and David Levien, who scripted the 1998 high-stakes poker film Rounders.

Paramount is developing the untitled film, which according to media reports will revolve around the online casino industry in the Central American nation of Costa Rica.

DiCaprio, 34, has been the star in many successful films during an acting career spanning two decades, including Romeo and Juliet, Titanic, Blood Diamond and The Departed.

Although it was not a box office hit, Rounders quickly became a cult hit as Texas Hold 'em and other forms of poker have grown in popularity over the decade since its making.
